I Love Seychelles

The Coco de Mer is the largest and heaviest nut in the world. Until the true source of the Coco de Mer was discovered in 1768, it was believed by many to grow on a mythical tree at the bottom of the sea.  But it is the shape and not the size of the seeds, that makes it so famous; the seeds bear an uncanny resemblance to a woman’s butt. Indeed, one of Coco de Mer’s archaic botanical name was Lodoicea callipyge, where callipyge in Greek means “beautiful buttocks”.
